Create a Group
Groups are the foundation of task routing in EnforcedFlow. A group contains your agents and the routing rules that determine how tasks are distributed.
The Process
Section titled “The Process”- Create a group - Set up a container for your routing rules
- Configure fields - Define your routing criteria
- Add agents - Add team members and assign field values
- Start routing! - Use integrations to route tasks
Creating a New Group
Section titled “Creating a New Group”- Navigate to Advanced Round Robin in the main navigation
- Click the Create New Group button
- Enter a name for your group
- Click Create Group
After creating the group, you’ll be taken to the group management interface where you can configure fields and add agents.
Agent’s Information Fields
Section titled “Agent’s Information Fields”Agent’s Information Fields store contact details for each agent, such as email addresses, Slack user IDs, or phone numbers. These fields appear when adding agents to the group.
Common information fields include:
email- for email notificationsslack_user_id- for Slack messagesphone_number- for call routing
To add an information field:
- Go to the Settings tab
- Enter a field name using lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores
- Click Add
How Information Fields Are Used
Section titled “How Information Fields Are Used”When you add an agent to the group, the information fields you configured will appear in the agent form. This allows you to store the contact details needed for your routing workflow.
