Create a Group

Groups are the foundation of task routing in EnforcedFlow. A group contains your agents and the routing rules that determine how tasks are distributed.

  1. Create a group - Set up a container for your routing rules
  2. Configure fields - Define your routing criteria
  3. Add agents - Add team members and assign field values
  4. Start routing! - Use integrations to route tasks
  1. Navigate to Advanced Round Robin in the main navigation
  2. Click the Create New Group button
  1. Enter a name for your group
  2. Click Create Group

After creating the group, you’ll be taken to the group management interface where you can configure fields and add agents.

Agent’s Information Fields store contact details for each agent, such as email addresses, Slack user IDs, or phone numbers. These fields appear when adding agents to the group.

Common information fields include:

  • email - for email notifications
  • slack_user_id - for Slack messages
  • phone_number - for call routing

To add an information field:

  1. Go to the Settings tab
  2. Enter a field name using lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores
  3. Click Add

When you add an agent to the group, the information fields you configured will appear in the agent form. This allows you to store the contact details needed for your routing workflow.
